You do this by double clicking on it. You don’t need to copy the files, you can run them directly from the CD.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

The next step is to go into the folder of the application you would like to install (premium or basic) and then run setup by double clicking on setup. This is a known issue for the 2008 version. To resolve this issue, please go into your Windows control panel and then regional options. Make sure both the main tab and unicode tab are set to English (any country but must be English).

If you still continue to have problems and are running Windows Vista, try turning off UAC (user account control). Go into control panel and then users. Click on turn user account conrol on or off, and clear the checkbox to use UAC. Restart your computer and try to go into Palladium again.

Do I need to install Palladium Server?

Palladium Server installs MS SQL Server Express and also our automated backup server. You do NOT need to install Palladium Server if you don't want to use the backup server component or are installing from our Single installer.

If you already have SQL Server installed, you can install Pallaidum Server from the MSI file to just install the automated backup software. Please contact us for instructions on this configuration.
